    She ate the rat sideways....

Has this happened to anyone else? I thought she would have stopped and repositioned. I was kind of amazed that she got it down sideways and I was a little worried at first.

My local supplier of frozen rats didn't have large rats so I got two mediums. Even folded in half, it was barely wider than the widest part of her body.

This was also the first time I left a rat in with her without doing the zombie dance to get a strike. I fed her the first one with a good strike and tossed the other rat in with her.

I have had it happen once or twice, it always freaked me out, too, then she was fine. I wouldn't worry about it unless it's acting like it's in pain.

I had a male BCI that would look for the butt and start at that end everytime.

Yep, I've had my Bci eat sideways (or at least attempt to) several times.
