    If you want to give them room to climb then you could always get a nice big hard plastic cabinet or a refrigerator, then put glass/plexiglass sections on the doors. Or even just make your own enclosure out of wood.

    Just throwing some ideas out there.

    Vinyl straps and clips which you can get at Walmart for a couple bucks. Its what I used to keep the lid on all my tanks.
