    Question about color in hatchlings.

Okay, so it's day 54, and I just slit the two surviving eggs from my Dinker x Normal clutch. The other two eggs died early into incubation, unfortunately. Not sure what happened there. The babies seem very light in color (Much like their father.), but I'm trying not to get too excited. This is my first clutch ever, so I don't know what to expect.

Question is, would they normally have all of their color by now, or would it still be coming in? They've been cooking at 89-90 degrees. I'd like to say I have something here, but I kind of doubt it. I'll try to get pictures tomorrow, if possible. Their patterns look pretty funky as well. Can't wait for them to come out.

Pattern comes in first, then color.

They will generally look a bit different after they have their first shed or two.

That's what I thought. I wasn't sure how late it developed. We'll see what comes out!
