Question about 20g enclosures
I've been searching through forums on Pangea and here for someone else who has converted a 20gL, but seems that it's not that common. I've spent about 2-3 hours trying to look for a thread that has such information (Search function won't search for "20 gallon", only gallon). I'm not interested in breeding, and do not want more than one. Would a 20g be too big for an adult? If it is too big, I'll either trade it for a 10g, or sell mine and buy a 10g.
I'm more than likely going to get a crestie within a couple months, once I feel I have researched enough to bring one home. I already have my eyes on a male, he's at a place where I volunteer. He's pee'd on me twice so far, I think he's marking me.

Re: Question about 20g enclosures
A 20 gallon is great for a full grown adult. If you end up getting a hatchling or something smaller you might want to start them in something smaller, but a 20 gallon is good for an adult crested. You can get a conversion kit for 10 and 20 gallon aquariums--check out this thread on Pangea for a step-by-step with photos: http://www.pangeareptile.com/forums/...ad.php?t=38292. This is where to get the conversion kits she uses: http://www.junglebox.net/category/VIV.html. You don't have to go all out with the naturalistic setup like she does, but those conversion kits work really well for tanks.

Thank you so much!!! This is exactly what I was looking for!
I plan on getting an adult, so this works perfectly.
