Question Turning pink when in feeding mode

Third time I noticed this .. When my BEL is in feeding mode, just before she strikes, her upper body (1 fourth of her total length I'd say, turns pink as if she is pre-shed - which she isn't ... If they would be warm blooded I'd be tempted to say that her blood pressure shoots up because she is excited haha .. Once she is finished and settled down it fades again ..

Quite odd really .. anyone else noticed this ?

yep they are forcing O2 and blood to the muscles so they can constrict. I've noticed both my Pied and Ivory get that pink color ...
