Re: San Diego Reptile Super Show & Anaheim NARBC--Whose vending/attending?

This weekend! Didn't think I'd be adding anything this year, but I'll have cash in pocket just in case. Keeping my eyes peeled for pieds, g-stripes, and ivories. Hopefully it's not too early in the season...

I just happen to be in San Diego for the weekend (visiting my brother), so we're hoping to attend on Sunday... maybe I'll see a few of you there?

Was there for a couple hours today, it was really awsome to see so many different snakes and to drool over all the morphs that i can never afford... lol. But yeah picked up a NERD line pastel male BP and a Hypo Pastel RTB male, going back tomorrow to pick up a rat rack...

I'll probably be there tomorrow (Sunday) from around 2-5pm... so if you see a girl with bright red curly hair & glasses, say hi! If it's not me, however, you may feel like a dork for a second.

Re: San Diego Reptile Super Show & Anaheim NARBC--Whose vending/attending?

I went yesterday (Saturday) and wandered around for a bit. It was packed when I first got there, I often had to pause and let people walk by as the aisles were stuffed. A lot of cool animals, and a good amount of ball pythons. Pickings were slim for what I was particularly searching for (ivory, gstripe, pied), but I almost picked up a female genetic stripe for a really good price. Alas, its stripe was not perfect with several breaks, and I ultimately passed. If you're in the market for a co-dom ball, you're gonna get it for a really good price!

I wanted a snapping turtle, but apparently they can't sell them in CA? And yet, hatchling turtles well under the 4 inch rule were being sold... I wanted to buy a hatchling Eastern snake-necked turtle and had decided to make my rounds first, but when I came back it had sold. Oh well, ya snooze ya lose.

My highlight was the indigos! My first time seeing those in person and they are very impressive. I might have to pick one of those up in the future. Good show overall!

Re: San Diego Reptile Super Show & Anaheim NARBC--Whose vending/attending?

I just got back as well, and had a great time! Unfortunately I didn't see any of you (that I know of) while there, but I got to see some awesome herps... I think the highlight was this Panther Chameleon, and a few VERY expensive BP morphs (crystal, soul sucker, etc). I got lots of photos, which I'll post on the forums once I get them uploaded. Oh yeah, and I did pick up a little something - an '08 female Stimson's Python, to go with my boy James. She was a holdback that he decided to sell at the show, and I negotiated a fairly good price for her!
