    yep we used the blow dryer he only took mice the first week when we were handling him a lot now we have not touched him in 2 weeks he shed fine and everything also

    For some reason I laughed when I saw your last post about how he is just laying with it. >.>

    Anyway, you can keep it in there with him for 30 minutes. And if I'm correct if you did it near night time you can keep it in all night. But this is mainly for snakes that are losing weight to fast and need it. Correct me if I'm wrong.

    Dropped it on the snakes head? Sounds like it just struck defensively.. Unless it actually ate...

    Ive had times where my snake would be really interested but not strike at the mouse, then i accidentally drop it out of the tongs and right when it hits the ground she strikes at it and constricts... weird but sometimes it works. Other times she gets scared of it...

    And, yeah sometimes it helps to just leave the mouse there for them to eat... and LEAVE THE ROOM. or turn off the light sometimes helps... Ive left mice in the tank for a while she usually takes them soon after, even if they arent warm anymore...

    I dont think over night would hurt... if they eat it good if not then get rid of it...
