first ever ball python eggs here at Squamish Serpents!!

HOLY MACKEREL!!!!! SHE FINALLY LAID!!!!! her first hookup was December 30th, and now, finally! they're so big and beautiful! so far, there are 6, which is what i palpated. so i am pretty sure she's finished laying! we're going to give the hissy momma a few more hours before we move them to the incubator!

she decided she didn't like her laybox though...i'm just thankful it wasn't the water dish

Thats a great set of pics, she is an amazing looking snake, I sorta feel bad for her she looks all deflated from poppin out those monstrous eggs, and she is all protective lookin over her babies! Do ball pythons shiver to alter the temperature of their eggs like some other snakes do?

i'm not too sure about the shivering thing...i would imagine so, though. but i incubate them in an incubator rather than leave them with mom.

she was bred to a spider, and also a pastel. WHOSE THE DADDY!? hopefully both, lol

Congrats! You have a beautiful albino there! Maybe you'll luck out and get a split sire clutch and can get some albino bees in the future.
