    Finally Ate but what NOW?

So I have been feeding my pastel female bp f/t weaned rats up until she went off feeding for 2 and 1/2 months YIKES!!! but then I went out and got her a smaller adult mouse nothing she cant handle and she smoked it gobbled it up and was done in less then 2 mins... But the question I have is now is, will she go back to f/t weaned rats and stay on f/t or is she going to want live all the time... I cant do live because where I live their feeders stink and dont produce enough etc etc... So what will happen and what should I do?

They will usually switch back if you give them time, and work at it a little bit. If she won't switch back, I would suggest possibly breeding your own if you could. I have not had a problem switching back if they were on them before, if worse comes to worse, feed a live one first and then offer a frozen thawed.

I would just go an get a live mouse (or two) every week for a week or two. If she will eat live mice, give her live mice and then work on switching her back. It is much easier to switch once they are eating consistently.
