    Re: SENTINELS HATCHED--pics pics pics

Story is I bought a group of 3 sentinels that from Africa. It is a codom and the sentinel is the super form. We call the codoms het sentinels and the supers sentinels. This is the first clutch that officially proved the trait. We knew it was going to prove as there is a similar trait that has proven already, but it is always nice to be reassured! Last year one of our females went bred to our graphite male and produced het ivory het sentinels. This year, both females went bred to the sentinel male. The first egg we pipped we only saw the belly, and I was like--OH NO--another white snake!!!--4 eggs 4 sentinels.

here are a few more pics of a male that came out this morning

I believe your talking about the paints?

I know the paints have a super that looks even crazier, and the regular paints are different looking as well.

Your Sentinel's super looks like the paint, and the het of it almost looks normal.

So I know I read you had said you guys didnt believe they were the same, now I am seeing why.

    They look pretty close though!

No --I actually though they were the same--the paints have a super that looks even crazier? I think aside from mine being more orange and colorful they look almost identical. I have not seen a paintball yet so I could not say if they look different or less "normal" , but I have seen my het sentinels, and they look far from normal. But that is also far from normal to a half crazy yellowbelly lover. Click the link and check out the pics on the album I have up.

    Super paints

    http://www.reptileradio.net/reptiler...t=super+paints

Then here's some hatchling paints and then a super

    http://www.reptileradio.net/reptiler...+paints&page=2

Sounds like your animals are co-dom with the super being a Sentinel correct?

Then the paints are co-dom with the "hets" being an actual paint that looks NOTHING like a normal, like yours do, and the super being a super blushed out animal.

No--I think you are missing it-
-in the link you sent there is no picture of a paint anywhere--those are all pics of the superpaints--there is a red x where there was a pic of a paint, but the pic has been removed. Charles does not publicly show the pics of the paintballs which I can understand.

Those are badass Ben. Congrats on getting a boy. Now I know where I can get my Het Sentinel Yellow Belly in a year or so. Good luck with the rest of the season.
