    One insane friday night.

Alright, so, has any of you ever been stalked? Or followed, I guess this would go more out to the women then men, but either way.

Check this out. So, myself & my roomate go out dancing and bar hopping every friday/saterday night. We are at our normal bar, when my friend tells me that there is a guy across the bar that has been staring me down. So I look over, and he looks really familier. I realize this guy used to be good friends with my brother in law, and used to hang out with us all the time when I was like 13. I immediatly texted my brother in law telling him & he called me telling me to not go anywhere alone and to stay with a lot of people.

This guy, just got out of prison for beating his wife with a baseball bat. Assaulting 3 police officers, and breaking all the windows on the cops cars with a crow bar. He's 34 years old, and hasn't had his drivers licence in 10 years.

So we paid for our tab, and quickly went to leave the bar when someone grabs my arm and I hear "Wow, laura you've grown up". I just looked at him, said uh.. thanks and walked quickly out the door. Next thing I know, we are in the bar we go dancing at and there he is following us in. I told the bouncer we are buddies with to watch him. We go upstairs, start dancing and I look over and he's standing at the edge of the stairs in the corner like a CREEPER just staring at me with his arms crossed. Really, really freaky. So I snuck off to the bathroom, and called my brother in law who said that his brother was coming out to the bar to confront him.

I come out of the bathroom and get pushed up against the wall by him, i looked him in the eyes and told him that if he didn't move, and he touched me one more time that his face was going to get re-arranged because Brent was coming for him. He laughed at me, backed off and went back downstairs. Ten minutes later I notice all the bouncers running downstairs, so I went down and yeah... i seen about 7 men trying to pry brents hand off this guys neck. He had him slammed up agianst the door.

Eventually, everything settles down and the guy gets kicked out. Brent comes over, talks to me for a bit making sure we're okay and he leaves.

Crazy, crazy night. That and some drunk dude head butted me while attempting to dance.

Wow! What a creepy guy! Hope he never bothers you again. No one ever has the right to physical push or restrain someone. Definitely call your local police department an file a complaint. He might be violating prole or something. Plus, if others have had problems with him that were reported he may be locked up again.

Oh, and a cop friend told me if you ever have suspicion that there is someone stalking you or watching your house, let the cops know and they will do drive-bys periodically.

I honestly don't want to get involved with anything with him, if he tries anything else I am sure he'll be getting a visit from my brother in law & his brother. Who mind you, they are all very large men. Ha. I wasn't completely sure if he drove himself or not, because if he did I could have called the cops on him since he doesn't have a drivers licence. The house I live at now, we share a driveway so we live back behind another house in the forest. But I am moving to an apartment here soon.

About 8 years ago I actually had a guy come in my house looking for me. I was in my room with the door locked and heard him come in the back door. I just stayed quiet. Don't think he was going to try anything but you never know. Scared the crap out of me. Later my dad threatened him and chased him way form the house, never saw him again! I love my dad!

That's a big reason why bars are retarded. I'd rather stay home and have friends over drinking anyday of the week.

Right now i'd rather not be at home, otherwise I would. When I get my place soon i'm sure we'll party there more often.

I hope I don't either, and the only reason he would persue to follow me around is he KNOWS that it would piss off my brother in law. I don't want them taking care of me, I can usually handle it myself but it's different when you actually know the person doing it. I have a baseball bat in my car, and mase.

I know this is going to sound REALLY stupid, but I know of a product better than mace or pepper spray. It cost less, isn't mandated by any law (local or federal) and is effective out towards 20 feet or more.

    The product/weapon.....Wasp Spray.

Look it up , it's better than any self defense spray, shoots further too. Keep a can of it in your home. You can shoot it far enough that the perp isn't too close and isn't really immediately dangerous because they are 20 feet away instead of 5-8 feet needed for pepper spray.

    This is real, no joke!

the only problem with that is probably the size they sell it in. Unless they have a reallllllly small can. It wont really be effective if you have to take a huge spray can out of your bag to catch someone by surprise. But ya, if there's small cans, looks good.. haha
