I come from a long line of humans that insist on breeding animals so my family and friends never react to the "breeding" part it is the snake part, but when we talk genetics and talk about what it entails, end product, projects, etc. they suspend that and can get really into it.
And there are lots of kids under 12 in my circle, so it gives uncle bruce a fair bit of cachet... and you cannot beat that.
My family is more interested inthe market aspect of it in comparison to the hobby aspect, how we (snake people) connect and what that looks like. We have good talks about it, so it is all good.
