    Feeding Question

Hi I just got my ball python Wednesday and the previous owner said she is ready for food. However, the local pet supply doesn't have the medium rats she had been given. They do have full size mice that will work. If I get her a couple of those will she be ok? She's around 1-1 1/2 yrs old.

    Re: Feeding Question

Yeah, you can double up mice if you can't get rats, but I would get some F/T online before too long.

    Re: Feeding Question

Just fed her 2 f/t mice about 5/6 her width and she took them quick!! only had to wait about 20 minutes before she cooled down for me to put her back in her cage. This forum kicks ass. Thanks everyone

    Re: Feeding Question

Congrats. Fwiw, there's really no reason to move them to feed them. It can add stress and cause refusals.

    Re: Feeding Question

I understand. The reason I kept it that way was because the previous owner had done the same. He even told me which specific sterilite tub he bought
