    Blue Nile Monitor

    Hello,
I have a Blue Nile Monitor that I need to re-home, I believe it is a male, but I am not certain. The Nile Monitor is about 3 feet long, which includes his tail, and only about a year and a half to two years old. Originally this monitor was a rescue, and was starved, and burned by a heat rock (Still has the scar on the underside of his tail). He is handle able once out of the cage, but will tail whip and hiss inside of his cage. As of right now, he is on a feeding schedule of every other day, he will eat mostly rat pups, roaches, feeder fish, or canned monitor food, canned shrimp, canned grasshoppers, and canned snails. As for feeding, he will refuse crickets, any any meal worms, butter worms and wax worms. I have all of his paperwork from when I took him to the Vet., which I will give to his new owner, as well as certain other supplies such as his water bowl and food dish. There is an adoption fee of $100 for him because I have a lot of money tied into him.

P.S. I can not adopt him out to just anyone, these are not beginner monitors. I ask that in order to adopt him out for you to have a permit, an exotic Vet. of your choice, and to be able to show proof of an enclosure. Serious inquires only please.

P.S.S. I do have his enclosure here, but I am selling it separately because it was very expensive. The enclosure that I currently have for him is a "CagesByDesign.com" H3 Hybrid expandable cage, which I am looking to get $700 for.

I am located in Thorofare, New Jersey and this must be a local sale. I am not certified to ship reptiles, and I refuse to risk it.
