Hehe, I bred CB Brazilians for quite a few years. I'd say 75% of them were evil little monsters. I had one adult female that wasn't so bad, but she'd still let you know how she was feeling if she had a bad day.

That honestly surprises me. As I said, babies bite but this the first time Ive heard of someone that had multiple adults that didnt calm down.

As to the original poster, my questions still stand. Especially considering how his temperament changed, Im curious to what caused it.

In their innocent defense (lol), I don't consider myself a hands on keeper (especially with species like Brazilians).

Maybe with some work my adults might have become more chilled, but they never gave me a chance.

That might be the difference, I have most of my snakes out a lot plus most of them are used in outreaches.

That really is weird. My BRB, Marius, is very sweet and curious. When I pull him out, he stays curled in my hand for about 30 seconds and then he is off exploring his word around my arm and hand. He's never once tried to bite or even strike....though I have learned that it is best to leave his meal in the tub with him and just walk away. He strikes his food hard and fast and I'd just rather it not be my fingers he mistakes.

Sorry you're having so much trouble with yours, though. Have you checked and double checked your husbandry? Sometimes if their environment isn't right, they can be moody. You might also try something that I've heard has worked well for others. Take a t-shirt and wear it all day long. Then place the t-shirt in the tub/viv/tank near where he hangs out the most...so that he can start to associate your scent with "home". Just a thought. But don't leave the t-shirt in there too long or you'll get it all moldy.
