    Spider Het Ghost

Looking around for a female spider het ghost of decent size that would be ready for the upcomming breeding season. Really into the Ghost Gene and am looking at Honeybee's with the 0.1 spider het hypo. Saw the SpiderGhostMojave on a BHB video and it is stunning. Hopefully my mojave het ghost to my ghost will produce some mojave ghosts then my ghost to (soon to be) spider het hypo will produce some honeybee's. Breeding the Honeybee to the Mojave Ghost will produce the SpiderMojaveGhost? I also am looking at producing the pastel ghost for I have a few pastels that are going to be ready. What would happen if say I hit the odds and produced the SpiderMojaveGhost with my first breeding of the Honeybee to the MojaveGhost a couple years from now, and then breed that to my PastelGhost? Would that then possibly turn out a SpiderMojavePastelGhost? Has one been made? If so can you please post a link to a picture, must be an amazing looking animal if someone has made it already.

    Thanks!

I also have 2 normal females that are huge! I have a male cinny, a male pastel, and a male ghost..which of those would you breed to the normals. I was thinking just possibly the pastel to one the cinny to the other try and produce some more female pastels and female cinny's?

    Thanks for your opinions!!

    Re: Spider Het Ghost

A SpiderMojaveGhost to PastelGhost could indeed produce a SpiderPastelMojaveGhost. I think the odds would be 1/8 with that breeding, but I am not sure. Keep in mind that the earlier breedings have more difficult odds. The mojave het hypo to spider het hypo had only a 1/16 chance of producing MojaveSpiderHypos.

I don't know if someone has made the SpiderPastelMojaveGhost. I am hoping to hit the 1/16 odds for a Pastave ghost from a pastel het hypo to mojave het hypo breeding when my eggs hatch in about a week. I know the Pastave Ghost has been done before. I remember seeing pictures of it.

As for your other males, I would do exactly what you said, breeding the pastel to one and the cinny to the other. Especially if you want to hold back the females.

    Re: Spider Het Ghost

There are plenty of pastel ghosts around, all over kingsnake for sale so I know those are out there. I personally like the Mojave Hypos more but the Pastel Hypos are still gorgeous, would you be able to send me pictures of your clutch? Or let me know where they are posted? I would love to check them out. But I will not be breeding the spider het hypo to the mojave het hypo. I will hopefully after honeybees are produced from the spider het hypo to the hypo, breed the honeybee to the then mojave hypo that I hopefully will have after breeding my mojave het hypo to my ghost. I believe this would definitely liken my chances of the mojave spider hypo? Once (if, hopefully) that is born breeding that to the pastel ghosts that I will hopefully have for the ultimate PASTEL MOJAVE SPIDER GHOST!!! (this is all a few years down the line, but in around 4 or 5 years I hope these thoughts with be reality!)

    Re: Spider Het Ghost

I will post pictures of my clutch as they start hatching in the Breeding section of this forum, but it will likely be the middle of next week before they start emerging. Day 50 is Friday, so I will probably cut them some time between Friday and Monday depending on my patience level.

Spider het Hypo to Hypo and Mojave het Hypo to Hypo have the same odds:
    1/4 Spider or Mojo Hypo
    1/4 Hypo
1/4 Spider or Mojo Het Hypo
    1/4 Normal Het Hypo

Honeybee to Mojave Hypo is as follows:
    1/4 Spider Mojave Hypo
    1/4 Mojave Hypo
    1/4 Spider Hypo
    1/4 Hypo

I think all of those odds are right, but there is always a chance I am messing something up

Spider Mojave Hypo to Pastel Hypo is still the same odds I gave you before:
    1/8 Spider Mojave Pastel Hypo

An those are odd per egg. So in an eight egg clutch you could get 8 Spider Mojave Pastel Hypos or 8 Hypos or any combination of babies. IT is a long process, but it should be fun!

    Re: Spider Het Ghost

Honeybee to Mojave Hypo is as follows:
    1/4 Spider Mojave Hypo
    1/4 Mojave Hypo
    1/4 Spider Hypo
    1/4 Hypo

So this is the clutch I will really be looking forward too!

Thanks for your insight and help!
