Thanks to everyone! I pulled him out today and he seemed to be just fine. I inspected the wound, and I could barely even tell it was there. He didn't throw up the mouse and he wasn't twitching or anything. He also, didn't seem too upset to be removed from his hide.![]()
I did dab a tiny bit of neosporin on the wound and I will continue to check him. He let me touch his head and tend to the wound, it's almost like he knew I was trying to help it.
I am a first time owner and I really appreciate everybody's help. So far, I have been very lucky and everything that is "supposed" to happen (ex. shedding, eating, pooping, hiding, utilizing all hides, mild temperament, etc) has happened with the (from what I've read and researched) desired outcome!
I would like to switch to F/T but I will attempt to figure that out via other threads! Thanks again!
