San Diego super show?

So I think im driving up to the San Diego super show on June 26th-27th, I live in Arizona if I was to buy a ball python would I be able to bring him back with me, or would I have to ship it to my house? I'm wondering because I think theres a boarder check point on the way there and back, I dont know if I am able to bring an animal from one state to another, well a reptile in this case. Thanks....

There shouldnt be a check point on the way back but there is one on the way in. I have never hit a check point coming out of CA into NV

You won't have a problem. I've vended in California and have driven both ways and never had a problem.

I just did cross the border a month ago from:

california to arizona = no checkpoint
arizona to california = there's a checkpoint, just asked me if i have any illegal drugs and or frozen meat with me (i dont have both), then they just let me pass.
