Why don't we let corns incubate their own eggs?

Simple question and I am expecting complicated answers....all I see is people who remove eggs from mothers and incubate the eggs themselves. Why do you not let the mother incubate them and is there anyone who has tried to let the mother snakes take care of it and gotten any results?

It's not a complicated answer

Using your own incubator, you can control the heat and humidity much better than a momma on her eggs can. That's pretty much it.

Not to mention Colubrids arent great maternal incubators. My females that laid would wonder off and leave the eggs.

Because corns have a "set it and forget it" type of mentality. Meaning they don't incubate their eggs.

wow... I was expecting some long winded responses .....very good answers..I wish I could give points haha....I have a female and really don't have any interest in breeding her but I was really curious on why so much effort is taken in not letting the moms incubate.
