    Unfotunately you are on an island lol. I lived on Staten Island most of my life, they actually have a ton of nature for a little island. You can go to New Jersey maybe and herp the parks there. Or maybe upstate to the mountains. But all in all when I wanted to go herping I always headed south. Coolest things I found in N.Y. were a small colony of Eastern Milksnakes, and some Eastern Fence Lizards that were purposely released like 15 years ago to see if they could survive and the answer is yes they can lol. What kind of stuff are you looking for anyway?
