Hello from So*Cal
Hello everyone! My name is Tyler and as of later today I'll be a first time bp owner! I'm so stoked. My bro has one as well, so the exotic pet bug bit me and I can't wait to have one of my own. I'll be sure to post pics when I get her.
I prefer pets outside of the norm. (dog/cat/fish). I also have a Chilean Rose Hair Tarantula.

Re: Hello from So*Cal
2 Questions:
1) Is waiting 7 days after introducing a bp to its new enclosure long enough to wait before handling it for the first time?
2) Is 24 hours long enough to wait to handle a bp after feeding day?

Re: Hello from So*Cal
Hi,
The answer to number one depends on whether it has eaten for you yet - if it hasn't hang off until it has if you can.
And I would leave it 48 hours after a feeding before handling - longer if it was a particularly big meal.
Don't worry about rushing the handling - just get the lil fella settled in and eating first and you will be off to a great start.
