Hee. Bit by what? I've been bit by all sorts of things. Reptilewise, I've been nipped by a young northern Watersnake, an adult corn snake, and an adult western slender glass lizard.

Re: Have you been bit.
I was also bit about 14(-/+) yrs ago by a RTB that I used to own, while giving her(not sure) a bath she caught me on the forearm when she was about 4' long, she actually missed my nose and big toe a couple of times and believe it or not she actually aimed at my *clears throat* private, i know scarry...LOL oh yeah she also caught my hand once. sorry no pics of neither, altought I believe I may have a pic of the RTB, I would just have to dig for it.

Re: Have you been bit.
I've been barely nipped by a little corn snake and then my first real bite was from a mexican black king snake.

There is also a bare-eyed cockatoo at the shop I work at and he is responsible for drawing a lot more blood than any of the snakes are!

Re: Have you been bit.
The only reptile I own that has bitten me is by little beardie. My RTB doesn't like to be bothered when she's blue, so I figured I'd handle her a bit to do some spot cleaning while she was in blue. That's the only time she'll hiss at me. No luck, not that I want to be bit, but I'm handling more and more snakes now and I'd like one of my own snakes to be the first one to bite me.
I used about the same excuse for changing diapers too.....

Re: Have you been bit.
The only CB snake I've been bit by was a very young corn, far from being big enough to even come close to breaking the skin.
I've been bit by plenty of water snakes and garter snakes during field herping ventures however.
