Yeah, I definitely think I'll be in the market for a new vet. >.< But it was probably more my fault, because I was very insistent that she was a he. I guess I'll have to do some research around here and see if I can find an actual herp vet who knows more about herps. I did call the vet today and asked him about the eggs and the antibiotics. He doesn't seem to think they'll be harmed, but he also didn't catch the fact that SHE was about to lay eggs. I guess all I can do is wait and see.

I pulled the eggs out this morning because Apopha (ha ha ha, had to feminize it!) was finally done laying. It was hysterical trying to get the eggs and slugs from between her coils, every time I touched her she flinched hard enough to move my hand away. She had a total of 15 slugs and 7 viable eggs.
