    Another price question!

I was at a repti-con up in Maryland the other day and I saw a guy selling BEL's for 1500. Unfortunately he just sold it when I asked about it. Since then I've been keeping an eye on the price of BEL's on kingsnake and they seem to be about 2000.
My question is how much do you guys think is a reasonable price for a BEL? I was hoping to get one for 1500, is that realistic?

Are you referring to blue or black eyed?

Show prices are always lower then online prices. atleast they should be. then again you do get those (??%%$$&&) people selling low online sometimes. 1500-2000 sounds normal for a bel to me.

I think you could easily find a BEL for around 1500 at another show. I have seen BELs priced around there at shows recently.

Either way I would say BEL's go for around $2000 online so at a show $1500 seems pretty reasonable for either black or blue eyed.

Sure is! I was up there on that Sunday, was a pretty cool show. Not a huge BP selection but a great vendor show...still not sure why there was a guy trying to sell gutters there...

    Re: Another price question!

The snakes that were used to produce the BEL can determine the price of the Lucy as well.

    For example:
A Super Lesser Lucy may be priced higher then a Lesser x Mojo Lucy, and a Super Mojo Lucy may even be cheaper...

Really there are so many ways to produce a BEL, you should be able to find a very nice Lucy for around $1k.
