Were not really in a hurry to start breeding. Our son leaves in a year and I finally get my snake room. My wife really likes watching them grow up and she likes to get to know their personalities before they get bigger to know exactly how to approach them. We have a corn snake that is VERY territorially, when you open her tank she starts to rattle. If you reach in your going to get tagged multiply times. So my wife knows that if she wants to hold her she uses the snake hook to get her out, then once she is out of her tank you can grab her and she is fine.
