I just got my scale a few weeks ago, and it's very convenient with the whole 10-15% of body weight thing. Would've been pert-near impossible to guesstimate, especially with my first BP.
Thanks! I think the whole being fed like one live mouse a month thing for a while taught him to eat when it's offered. (That was his previous owner's husbandry, not mine!)
Well you're welcome, glad I could help! Your results may vary from snake to snake as some of course may not take multiples, but I figure if he's already in the box and hungry, why not get a full meal in? (I do not have any rats to feed him currently or I would try feeding them to him, though I don't know if he's ever even seen a rat.) Basically I present one, wait for him to get it down after thoroughly constricting it of course(I give him about 10 minutes before I check), then I present the next one and repeat the process until he's eaten 10-15% of his body weight.
