My first clutch of eggs!!
Alright everyone I finally made it here!! I've been waiting and waiting and waiting and there finally here!!!! EGGS!!! but before I get into that....
I bred my pastel male to a normal girl I had, actually a bunch of girls but only witnessed locks with one female. Funny thing is though, all my big girls that met my boy are acting funny but don't seem pregnant. Just very to themselves, not eating, just wondering whats going on with them and how to get them back on track and eating again. Same thing with my pastel male he has also gone off feed trying to get him back on track as well. Any
tips would be awesome!
Now for the eggs!
She laid 7 one being a slug 6 being viable looking eggs. I got them in an incubator at 88-90 @ 80% humidity. Today will be the tenth day in the incubator. I keep reading humidity should be at 90-100%, so yesterday I added some water and taped up holes i made in the tub but it only went up from 74% to 80-84% humidity. They all seem fine, not collapsing or anything but I just want to know everyone experiences with incubating in slightly lower humidity levels.
Thanks for all your insight!!
PS Anyone who saw my classafied ad for my gravid females I apologize for not getting back to you. The day after I posted that I had eggs lol! After that happened I decided to put things into high gear and invested in a bunch of new equipment and got back on the bike so to speak. I was overstressed at work and was thinking maybe the bp thing wasn't good timing right now, but once I saw those eggs I knew I had a responsibility to them and the snakes. Again I am sorry for the misleading ad, but a mans gotta do what a mans gotta do.

Re: My first clutch of eggs!!
Until they start eating, assume the females that are 'acting funny' are indeed gravid.

As for Humidity I use press and seal on the tops and then put the top of the tub on that.

Congrats on the eggs! Sounds like you will have babies soon!
I think 80-84% humidity will be fine.IMO Temp is right on the money.
Nothing like a clutch of eggs to get you interested again!

Yeah man, I was just gettin down on myself with my job, and just my whole current situation so I thought maybe taking a break from the ball scene might just be what I need to get myself on my feet. But those eggs made re-think all of that. Now I'm psyched and even more excited about next years breeding season. I just need to stay positive and not let things effect me the way they were and just let this clutch(s) keep me motivated.
