    What does "pip" mean? Just when they come out of the egg on their own?

    I always cut my eggs either once the first one pips, or on day 55. I have heard horror stories about baby snakes drowning in the egg and that's why you should always cut. I'm not telling you to always cut, but I definitely prefer to.

    I cut on day 55 plus, sometimes it depends on how anxious I get. I haven't ever cut earlier and don't see a need to.

    I'm comfortable cutting on anything after day 50.
    Before that is just too early in my opinion, i was told the other day that there are people that will cut as early as day 30 but i just don't see how those animals even make it. The way it was explained to me they cut on 30 and watch the snake develop day by day in the egg

    What's the point of that?

    as we don't had eggs right now, but are waiting some, I think we will cut at least one day after the first pips out.
