I'm not one to argue in favor of gun control, but Florida has shown that CC can in fact lead to severe increases in crime. Every state is unique.

Yes and each state has standards on how to issue them as well. If background are not ran thorough then well you get criminals with guns legally. And thats what gives us guys that follow the law bad names.

i saw this bumper sticker once that said this:
"BLAMING GUNS FOR CRIME IS LIKE BLAMING SILVERWARE FOR FAT PEOPLE."
lol i know its just a bumper sticker but i strongly believe in its message.
in japan where im from, guns are illegal (only military personnel legally owns one, not even cops) which makes killing people a little harder and yes there is lower crime rate (which i think has nothing to do with guns but how we are raised) but when murders do happen, its pretty gruesome. when someone breaks into your house and all u can do is either beat him to death or cut or stab the crap out of him to protect you, your family, and your possessions, it makes YOU, the victim, the homicidal maniac because robbery is a lesser crime than killing someone. but if you have a gun in this situation, all u have to do is point it at him and theres nothing he can do unless he just wants to die.

funny the cultural difference between Americans and some other countries... to each their own - but you certainly won't sway any of us away from our guns. all the 'statistics' for either side can be wiped out by the other side's.

I bet you couldn't show documentation of that without using a clearly biased source.http://www.fdle.state.fl.us/Content/...t_violent.aspx
