I assume that once you do get help, you take it and learn, and go on your way. Although some have been harsh, you still have not seemed to improve at all and were still for a very long time defending your horrible reactions (both of you).
If an abusive parent can't care for a kid, I say take the kid away for it's safety. I'm not into the whole "but the parent still loves it!!!!!!!!!" point of view.
I'm in for the safety of the ball python, not the slow learning of the parent.
(On a side note, I have yet to see screaming. Most people said get rid of it sure, but I see no capslocks (thats how you scream online right?))
