    is this a lavender?

i'll be picking up a lavender albino at the upcomming show in hamm (germany). the original breeder were the people from dragonherp. I managed to identify the snake from the baby pictures that were still on his site and now i want to know what u guys think. im pretty sure the people at dragonherp are legit but the fact that lavenders get there true collors after a year or so kinda bothers me. so what do u guys think?

baby photo I snatched at dragonherp.com

pics i got from the german dude thats selling it to me

that looks like its a hatchling. after 3-5 sheds the colors will start to come out.

Im sorry but it doesnt look like one to me. It may be the pictures though, but at 500 grams Id think we would see some more signs of being a lavender.

Come here little guy. You're awfully cute and fluffy but unfortunately for you, you're made of meat

    Re: is this a lavender?

I have to agree with BeardedDragon... Lavender's have an overall purplish look to them... and in those pictures that animal doesn't look purple to me at all. If the second + pic's are of the snake @ 500 grams, I would have to say it's just a very nice albino.. maybe even a high contrast. Best of luck!

Its a Lavender. I've seen Dragon Herps' Lavender in person at Daytona, and they are excellent.

    Re: is this a lavender?

It doesn't look like one to me, but I have seen other lavenders that look like normals. I personally would never buy one unless it had great lavender colors.

100% lavender. What gives it away to me are the eyes, how it's shiny around the alien heads, and how the yellow doesn't bleed into the whites.
