If you want to do multiple displays, don't go with tanks. Animal plastics and Boaphile both make very nice display tanks. They will hold heat and humidity much better and in my opinion, they look nicer.
Shipping isn't really all that traumatic. Besides being shuffled around a bit, they have no idea whats going on. They are in a dark enclosed space and to them, that is safe.
All of the sites advertised on this website (all of the ads) are great places to buy from.

I'll tell you what I did, because I now have five ball pythons. I built my own cages that are stack able and have front sliding doors. The doors are actually basement sliding windows that were on sale at home depot, they are 30" by 12". As well, they have little spaces between each cage, so they are not sitting right on the heat mats.

when you start compareing the sizes of the tubs to the sizes of the tanks they really arent much differant just easier to keep temps right and eaiser to make them feel comfy
20 gal tank = 30" long x 12" wide x 10" tall = 360" sq
35qt tub = 24 1/2”L x 17 3/4”W x 7 1/8”H = 434 7/8" sq
so a 35 qt tub actually gives more room
bps are not climbing snakes so how tall the tank is really not important as the floor size. Even if they were a tub is loseing less than 3"

Re: Its official !!!!! ( lots of ???? )
ryssa,
I like display enclosures as well. There is nothing wrong with tubs but in my case I have a pair and like looking in at them. I have a vision and a sly plastics (I am in Canada as is Sly cheaper shipping) The Sly is very close to the Boaphile one. Both are great the vision has top vents and humidly can be a bit of an issue.
One thing I tell you to think of is cleaning and how you are planning on doing it. Personally I don't move the enclosure and clean it in place. I remove the substrate vacuum out every bit of the dregs. Wipe down everything with vinegar, and then use a good steamer on the interior, until there is no vinegar smell left. It takes me 30 min or so to do each one. It is a fair bit of work, tubs are way faster there.
This brings me to height. One enclosure is 12 inches and one is 18 inches the 12 inch one is a pain to get into to clean. I'd really recommend an 18 inch one as it is just easier to work inside the bloody thing. I hope this helps!

yea, i was not groovy on the ideal of tubs, but when the sickness hits, i traded my ps3(the one that played 1+2 games) for the second rack, lol now i have a reptile room, the floor space abouve is correct, trust me they don't care

Thanks, they were made mostly out of wood, but the bottoms are black plexi glass so that it is easier to clean and to allow the heat from the under the tank heat mats come through better. I stained them black and sealed them real good. I also have them insulated so the heat stays in there and not in my room, it actually made a huge difference, now my room feels cold, ha ha.
