I think it may have gotten bitten by a feeder rat. Just want a confirmation

Hard to say, never leave live food in the enclosure unless you are going to sit there and insure the snake is safe. I tdoes look like a puncture right above the eye but I can not tell you what happened. If you left the rat in there or mouse my guess would be yes.....

Re: eye problem with my BP
You should take the snake to see a vet. I had a snake that got bitten in the eye while striking a feeder and it required some ointment that was put on the eye twice per day. The vet advised that it woud likely lose the eye without the medication. The vet also had to remove some old scab tissue from the eye at a follow up visit so that it could continue healing properly.

if the snake had a bad strike, the mouse or rat could have gotten a hold of it as well, i monitor every live feeding until the snake starts to unravel.

Whether or not it got bit it still should see a vet with a wound on or near its eye. Infections of the eye are BAD.
