ok i have a 55gallon tank and i have had a he!! of a time getting the humidity to stay up. between spraying every few hours to moving water bowl directly under heat. i could never seem to keep any kind of raised humidity in the tank. so last night i got some of the press and seal wrap and i put it across the whole top of the screen and put the lights right on top of it. the wrap hasn't had any probs with the heat and the humidity after a few sprays is up and holding around 70.

For a ball python, a 55 gallon is really too much work when they aren't benefiting from that size enclosure.
A 20 gallon will fit an adult nicely, and it's far easier to regulate temperatures and humidity.

i have heard that but i like it when she comes out and is moving around the whole tank and climbing on her bar she is beautiful to watch when she is stretched out along the front of the tank

I have a tank with a screen as well. I use a wet/damp towel on the screen to control my humidity & its been working well for me. The more humidity you want the wetter & the more of the screen you can cover. Just make sure your don't cover the entire screen.

This is just a suggestion, wht not divide the tank with a clear piece of plexi glass siliconed in place, then you'd have enough room for 2 Bp's, the lamps are what's sucking your humidity. also try some spagnum moss or sea sponges

The lamps do drain your humidity. I'd switch to belly heat. Dirt cheap Flexwatt and a thermostat.
