    the corkscrew really doesn't have a negative effect on their well being. Chances are she changed her mind about eating or perhaps there was something wrong with that paticular mouse. As others stated...leave it overnight on the warm side...if it is still there in the morning throw it out and try next week.

    As far as when she goes blue prior to shed ....you can still offer food...some take it and some do not.
