Bumblebee x Desert Ballpython

Hi everyone,
i read Hundreds of posts here but this is my first

I am going to buy a Bumblebee(female) and in about 2-3 years a Desert(male) morph.

Bumblebee x Desert:
1/8 Normal
1/8 Pastel
1/8 Spider
1/8 Bumblebee
1/8 Desert
1/8 Desert Pastel
1/8 Desert Spider
1/8 Desert Bumblebee

Now i would like to know how do i add the pied morph into this ?
( both Het. for pied ? or will a Desert Pied x Bumblebee add Pied into the baby's ? )
( so one Het. for pied isn't enough ? )
and do you know wich morphs will add to the list then ? ( spider pied ? etc.. )

I hope you guys know what i mean

You could have them both het piebald or breed a dessert pied and a spied together since pied is ressesive it needs to be on both sides or you get hets

you realize that pied spiders only have head pattern right?

If you breed a Desert X Bumble bee it should be:

1/4 bumble bee het. desert
1/4 spider het. desert
1/4 pastel het. desert
1/4 normal het. desert

Basically all offspring will either appear bumble bee, spider, pastel or normal and just carry the desert gene because desert is recessive. You'd have to breed one of the offspring back up to the dad to make visual deserts/combos.

(I'm pretty sure thats how it works, someone correct me in I'm wrong)

I'm tired so I won't even go into bringing pied in the mix...

This guy comes from our dutch forums, and isn't quite the genetics genius. :p

either way, theres a recessive morph called 'Desert ghost', and a dominant version called 'Desert'.

He doesn't realize that the spider pied only carries a spider head, and a completely white body.

A bumblebee pied also only has a patterned head, on a white base body.
So a desert bumblebee pied would still be a white snake with a colored head.

This is just someone who wants to step into breeding asap, has seen the morphs on pictures but never even handled a ball.

offspring x offspring.

10 year project.

Or bring a new mortgage on your house and try to buy a bumblebee het pied x desert het pied.

And to add - I don't think anyone has made a desert bumblebee pied - or even a desert bumblebee het pied.

Your mixing the Desert and the Desert Ghost up.
The topicstarter is talking about the dominant Desert gene.
