Need Help On Selecting A Good Rack!!!
I've checked out a couple websites and am still browsing around. I can't really find a rack that I can say I really like and want.
I want your opinions on different racks that you personally like and suggest I look into. I want you to tell me what racks worked best for you and how friendly or rude the person was that sold it to you.
I would much appreciate it for breeders to tell me as well since you guys mostly use racks that have to work well. But I'd love input from anyone who uses racks or heard good things about certain racks.
If this helps, I'm looking more into juvenile racks since I can fit both babies and juvenile in there. I'd also like a rack that I can fit a larger tub into, like say the row can fit two 15qt tubs or one 32qt tub.
Links are appreciated!!

If you are not housing very many snakes I would suggest Reptile Basics. If you are housing more numbers I would first suggest building your own, if that's not an option I would lean towards Vision Products.

Re: Need Help On Selecting A Good Rack!!!
Here are the ones I found so far that I do like, what do you think?
http://www.reptilebasics.com/iris-sh...tub-sizes.html
As for this one I'm thinking about it, but I want something larger than 6qt tubs, like 12 or 16 qt.
http://www.boaphileplastics.com/rhinoraxx_ten_shoe.html
EDIT: Found another I sort of like on Animal Plastics, just go to IRIS RACKS and click the 375 Series Juvenile and Hatchling Rack. I like the one on the very top of the page, what do you think?

I won't be having a whole lot, just a very small collection. If it was a pretty large collection I'd probably make my own. I'll check out Vision Products and see what they got thanks!

Re: Need Help On Selecting A Good Rack!!!
I will vote for animal plastics as well. I have 3 of their racks and love them. I have 2 regular racks that will hold either 1 32qt or 2 15qt tubs per shelf. I also have one of their economy racks. I have it set up in between my 2 other racks to keep the sides closed in more and it hold temps great. If you keep your room fairly cool I would say go with a regular AP.
As mentioned above it does take a LONG time to get them..(8 weeks in some cases)
RBI racks are nice too but they are a little more flimsey and the material is thinner than AP. The upside is they are competitively priced and they come fully assembled with tubs and all!
Either way you cant go wrong.
Let us know what you get

Re: Need Help On Selecting A Good Rack!!!
Well tiff I have been searching for racks lately to I gotta say I wanted to go with boaphile initially because they offer a 4 shelf Adult BP rack as opposed to reptile basics 3 shelf.
But there shipping time was four weeks and I found the customer service to be short and somewhat rude. Not totally, my questions were answered, but I definatly felt like I was a chore to the representative. His short, Passive attitude made me feel like my business was immaterial and made me unsure. In the end I think I am going with reptile basics. Because of the good customer service and the good design.
I think I read that RB racks also have locking pins for added snake security. And the recessed heat tape thats important to me. So even though I am losing out on a shelf I get my rack shipped in 10 days and friendly service.
JUst my :2cents: from the research I have done in trying to get a BP rack.
Now maybe sometime you could tell me how you house your bloods? I wanna keep bloods and morelia but I have no idea how to do it in my 65-72 degree downstairs room.
EDIT: And no offense to whoever I talked to, maybe they were having a bad day. But it ruined my impression.

I have the Animal Plastics economy racks. Well, I just got them (and I'm waiting on a third). I was impressed with them. Very nicely built. I didn't have too much interaction with the sellers, but they seemed very friendly.

Animal Plastics all the way. Well-built, easy to assemble, sturdy, light enough to move (particularly if get casters), and you can't beat the price.
