When you came back in did she seem surprised or frightened when you looked at her?
Sometimes it's best to try to sneak and keep light off to avoid them from thinking a 'predator' is coming their way and cause them to regurge.

I recommend waiting 2 weeks to feed again, just to allow her system to recover.
