    identifying my new baby

hello to all im new to this forum but ive had ball pythons for about 6yrs now.i recently got a bad urge to get a blood one of the reasons being they are so beautiful and i wanted a thicker bodied snake than a ball.ive read a lot of horror stories about bloods being bitey and nippy but i got one anyways.not sure if its male or female but i named it cinder.only thing is i need help identifying if cinder is a borneo or a malaysian apparently the sumatrans are really dark so im pretty sure its one of the first two cheers will post pics as soon as i know how

    Re: identifying my new baby

You needed to save it to a Photobucket account

Then you just copy the image's IMG CODE and paste it in the reply field on this site.

    Bada-Bing Bada-Boom

BUT, I did just copy and paste your link in a new window, and that looks like a Brongersmai to me, aka Red Blood Python.

There is NO way of knowing whether or not that animal is of Malaysian or Sumatran locality. I will tell you however that TRUE Malaysians are hard to come by, so I would probably bank on him being Sumatran.
