Weird Noise Coming From Tub?

I happened to be in the snake room just a few minutes ago, when I hear this sound coming from one of the lower tubs in the rack. It continues for somewhere around 5 seconds. It lasted long enough for me to find out which tub the noise was coming from.

I take the tub out and look inside. My female Albino had farted and poo'd for that long of a time. I had soaked her on Wednesday and I noticed she drank a good bit of water while soaking. Well, she must have expelled all of that water, because the entire side of the tub was wet along with what looked like projectile poo. Her water bowl was upright and didn't appear to have been spilled, so I'm thinking all of the water in the tub was from her.

Has anyone ever seen something like that? I've never experienced anything like this before.

I have had it happen a few times. It is a pain to clean up, and smells terrible.

Cannot say that I have....but I do have a snake that farts while she is pooing everytime. Well everytime I catch it....lol

The thing about this noise, is it didn't sound like a fart. At first I thought something was falling. It was more of a rolling sound. I really thought something was rolling while it was falling. Strangest noise I ever heard coming from a snake. Farts, I have heard many times. But I guess the amount of water she expelled was tremendous.

Oh that made me laugh so hard!!

One of my females did that very same thing last week. The sound was so flipping bizarre and I think it startled the other snakes in the rack.

I have had the projectile poop with weird noise happen with 3 of my animals. The first time it happened I thought it was a fluke, but when the following week the same animal had noisy projectile, liquidy poops again I talked to my vet and he suggested worming them. If the projectile, noisy liquid poop continued after worming then bring in a sample for a fecal. I have wormer at my house so I wormed Brandy and she has been fine ever since. When the other two animals did the same thing I wormed them and it stopped again. So If you have not wormed or do not feel comfortable worming your animals it may be worth it to have a fecal done on the poo if it happens again.
