    a feeding question

    Hi guys!

I have 2 BP i have been feeding 1 mouse twice a week, the male weighs in at 255g and the female weighs in at 190g. They are both almost 24 in. long. After they eat they are still hunting like they are still hungry. Will I be able to feed them 2 mice once a week or keep feeding like I was. I know I should be feeding them a rat but I am unable to get them small enough right now.

    Thank you in advance
    Steve

    STEVE!

I'd see if they take two mice.

Can't get rat fuzzies? If you're feeding F/T, I know there's places you can order online.

I'm feeding live right now but I may have to switch, the local pet store i get all of my supplies from (and have for years) won't get any because there is not enough demand for them

Could always breed them if you've got the time, money, space, and patience.

I think you can bridge the gap between adult mice and small/medium rats by offering multiple mice. And I know offering multiple mice is the common practice when one's not enough.

two adult mice once per feeding should be fine until they can graduate to rat weanlings.

If you can get jumbo mice then they should be big enough! Also at that age I would have them on a 5 day schedule!

2 are fine....or you can do a jumbo. If you have a scale you can weigh them to find out exactly what the mice weigh.
