Re: egg question
They don't deflate the way that ball python eggs do, but if you see some very slight denting around the time they should be hatching it's not usually a big deal. Any major denting probably means that the egg has gone bad though.
When the eggs hatch is completely dependant on what temperature they were incubated at and whether or not the temps were consistent. An egg incubated at a consisted 78 degrees will usually hatch at around 60 days. Each degree cooler usually adds a several more days onto that time.

Re: egg question
mine where in a room that was about 80* but was in closet so it was proley cooler by 5* or so, then I moved them down stairs where I could keep a better eye on them so temps now have gone down to probley 75* +/- 5*. so im probley looking longer, the eggs havnt got softer or anything yet. about the same as 5 day old eggs. Gah Im getting so impacent I want them to pop out already!!! haha.

Re: egg question
They don't usually really get soft or change appearance too much prior to hatching--they just get bigger as time progresses and sometimes get vertical stretch mark type lines.
