    Fishing at the pond

My parents own a 2 and a half acre pond that they stock with fish. I caught these two within ten minutes of each other using dead minnows, which I believed impossible LOL This is where our attempted bp.net hangout spot that got rained out last year was going to be held.

I think the grill may have rubbed some off as well That and im used to grabbing the cat fish that way, which you catch more often. Those suckers on their fins poke right through you... Normally I will use their lip but for the sake of getting the hook out and taking a picture I held him like that.

The cat fish I set back because for what we normally can get, he was on the small side.

Smith- Last year we were going to have a bp.net fish and grill out but the day it was going to happen it rained. 90% of the ground is mud around the fishing side of the pond, and when it rains its not a fun place to be around if you dont want to get completely covered in dirt.

    Re: Fishing at the pond

I've always wanted property with a pond on it, that I could stock with the tastiest fish.

I caught my first freshwater drum yesterday, at a local lake--phenomenal eating, very underrated fish.
