How can you miss an ovulation?

I had snakes that was hard to see it and had 6 or more eggs. easlier to miss when you have alot of snakes. If they go they go, I check for eggs twice a day and will catch ovulation this way. most of my females seems to lay their eggs between 2 and 4 am.

I do the same, once in the morning, once at night. I've never missed an ovulation, but I have doubted them before "Is she just bloated?" then poof eggs. I love when they give me the football look, that's always easy to catch!
