    How mUch should he weigh?

    Hello,

My ball is approximatly 14 monthes old and is 30 inches long and weighs 445 grams and is about 2 1/2 - 3 inch around at the fattest part. I was wondering if this is a normal weight, length and girth for an animal of this age, and also how big should I expect him to be as an adult? Im not sure if its a girl or a boy, the petco lady said she thought it was a boy but I havent had it probed yet. I feed him 1 adult mouse every 7 -10 days or more often if he starts hunting. Also I have a heck of a time keeping the humidity up and was thinking of getting a plexiglass top for his cage, but wasnt sure if the heat lamp can sit safely on the plexiglass, has anyone ever tried this?

I think it's a pretty good weight how often do you feed him, is he a good eater?
What size rats/mice do you feed him?

I feed him every 7 to 10 days or more often If I see him hunting in his cage, He is an awesome feeder hes never refused a meal since Ive had him, I feed him thawed frozen adult mice, most of the time I just feed him one, but I have given him two at a time on occasion. I just want to make sure he gets nice and Big..LoL, Ive been thinking about uping his feeding schedule to ever 4 to 7 days.

It may be that your snake is just going to be a small guy but most at that age seem to average 800+ grams. I wouldn't feed any more often than 7 days, but I would suggest making sure you are feeding him prey that is 10%-15% of his weight. Have you tried switching over to rats? If he won't take them and you have to feed multiple mice then make sure that their combined weight is in the 10%-15% range. Try somewhere around 40-50 grams of prey every 7 days...
