    Heat tape question.

Getting a bigger rack system for future '10 babies! Just wanted to know if placement of heat tape makes any type of difference? Is back heat preferred over belly heat or vice versa, or is it really all just personal reference?

    Re: Heat tape question.

I don't work with flexwatt enough to give a good answer. But here is a Flexwatt FAQ that goes into the difference between belly and back heat and might give some info you need. http://www.reptilebasics.com/flexwatt-faq.html

If not I would contact Rich at ReptileBasics.com(http://www.reptilebasics.com/help.ph...us&mode=update). He wires up all my flexwatt projects. The guy is pretty handy with the stuff and might have the info you need.

    Re: Heat tape question.

I think belly heat is way better for bps.

    Re: Heat tape question.

    I like belly heat personally

Not a big fan of back heat as it requires you to run the flexwatt a little hotter then usual.
