    lessercinny x lessercinny

my cinny girl just laid a clutch from my male lesser which got me thinking what would happen if I bred a lessercinny to a lesser cinny and hit the crown jewel a super lesser super cinny? does anyone have a pic of this? I just think its a cool dynamic because you have a solid white snake and a solid black snake in the same snake! my instincts make me think it would still be a solid white snake but what do you guys think?

    Re: lessercinny x lessercinny

Thats a good question. You wouldnt know what color it would be because its not like an albino. Super lessers do have pigment. Pure white pigment. Where albinos lack pigment. So there really is no way to know which one would cancle the other out. Since both supers have pigment it would most likely be a blend of the 2 like other double co doms. Think of a silver, grey or light hematite colored snake. Possibly more chance of a paradox? What color do you get when you combine white and black? Thats what it would probably be.

I was wondering that too, but pics of the lesser black pastel show a very washed out coloring. So I'm thinking between the cinny/black pastel tendency to create clear bellies and the leucistic tendency, you'll most likely wind up with another all white snake.

I'd love to be proven wrong on that, however!

...however, the recent pics of the sable mojave don't look washed out AT ALL. So now I really want to see a super sable super mojave!

    Re: lessercinny x lessercinny

I was thinking it would be another white snake too but instead of the blue eyes of a pure BEL .it might have black eyes if a cinny or super cinni got mixed in, or maybe if the whole duckbilling thing passed thru you might be able to tell from that, just a guess tho

it would be white, luecys lack the ability to transfer color to the skin so none of the cinny color would show up, except maybe in the eyes, since they arent effected the same way by luecism

I could definitely see that happening. I think there would be a better chance of getting something different looking, if you replaced the lesser gene with the ivory gene.

Regardless though, I have a feeling it won't be that interesting. It'll probably be patternless, with a light brown color going down its back that gradates to a slightly brownish white near the belly.

However, I'm still hoping that this "super combo" will suprise us. Anything is possible, so who knows for sure...

    looked up Leucism on wiki

"Leucism is a condition characterized by reduced pigmentation in animals and humans. Unlike albinism, it is caused by a reduction in all types of skin pigment, not just melanin."

so by that definition, if its truly leucistic, any super lesser combo will be an all white snake, doesn't matter if its a super lesser/super pastel/super cinny/super sable/super enchi/super *insert more morphs here* all in one snake.
