Re: Houston we've got a problem..
I lost my Crestie for over a month once. Eventually spotted him on my ceiling. My advice would be to wait until it gets dark, because that's when they're most likely to be out and about and moving around. Then, look up high. And definitely listen, you'll be able to hear him.

0.1 California Kingsnake ("Cleo")
0.1 Cinnamon Spider Het. Albino Ball Python ("Syd")
1.0 Hypo Bredl’s Python (“Oz”)

how big was he when you lost him? I'm so worried hes going to get dehydrated and just perish. There are a lot of dust bunnies in my room (fur from two cats, jeez). I'm worried hes going to eat them (dust bunnies, not the cats) accidently.
I'm hopeful though. It was really cute, my bf (who doesn't care for reptiles) saw how upset i was when i lost him and helped me look and everything (EVEN going as so far to MOVE THE SNAKE RACK OMG. hes terrified of snakes). And he asked me why i was crying so much (because I'm a huge sissy about stuff like this) and i said because this one was special, and it really hurt me to lose him and he said he was sorry that he didn't notice how much I LOVED that gecko and that he'd help me look extra hard and pay more attention to how i interact with my animals. it was really sweet.

UPDATE!!!
THE GECKO HAS LANDED! Dusty (bf) found him today while i was at work and told me to call him and gave me the great news.
That AMAZING boyfriend EVEN set him back up with his food and his water and put him back in his kritter keeper.
Holy cow, i can't express how happy I am.
