Re: Joseph Capone Power house reptile is he legit or scam?

What's sad is that there will always be people that will buy snakes from people like Joe because the only thing they see is the price. Some will get ripped off, and I'm sure others will get a cheap snake thinking that they got a great deal. Unfortunately, it's at the cost of many...

Does he sell poor quality snakes? Or he sells snakes cheap to beat out his competitors?

It's not about his prices as much as it is that he personally is slime.

The market is the market and if you can flood it and make money, more power to you. I've got nothing against him for that.

BUT, since I can choose not to do business with people who are scumbags, I will do that. I would that you as well would do that, but if you don't, you won't be the first or last.

The market economy only works because people can make their own decision. Other breeders might not like it and actually be quite upset, but I would say it's just a risk in such a market.

However, I do not support a seller, (or anyone at all), who lies or does not properly care for their animals.
If you know Joey's history - he made his decision to market crash to intentionally hurt other specific breeders - a targeted attack - he admitted it himself. It wasn't a business decision, it was a scumbag decision. And in the process, he ruined the reputation of his partner at the time (guilt by association) - who is quietly trying to re-build his reputation in the industry. It was like watching a trainwreck at the time.

I reserve the term scumbag for a very few, but Joey Capone has definitely earned that designation.

You couldn't PAY me to take an animal from him - I don't care how nice it looks. I will not support a scumbag.

from the research i gather up on Mr capone i would consider the quote " you pay for what you get" so far i hear he is scum who has no respect for the ball python market. he single handly tried to crash the market ON PURPOSE. i hear he is a snake hustler lol! never did any business with him so i cant speak personally on him. MR capone is about getting his money if "LERD" is selling a morph for 1000 he will sell his for 587.12 from what i hear. he does what small time breeders do to make a profit is he wrong? not for me to say but the lying part on he produce the animals when he brought them from someone else MANY Breeders buy whoRESALE DO YOU REALLY THINK A BIG BREEDERS IS GOING TO TELL YOU I BROUGHT WHORESALE PIED BALLS FROM BILLY FROM DUNNELLON FLORIDA? I DOUBT IT. is it wrong? you have to determine that one. like anything in life you buy at your own risk. but i rather buy from a BREEDER WHO HAS A GOOD NAME. I heard Ian G from outback reptiles was a bad guy. I brought from him many times and i have no complaints. i woulkd take in consideration the people in forum who dealt with capone, send them private messages and really get a take on MR capone. sorry about punctuation IM AT WORK LOL! but i chime in anyway.

From what I've read there's never been an issue with the snakes themselves.

But if you read through the threads at fauna, he single handedly tried to crash the ball python market for personal vengeance. He is a scum bag. Period. Only in it for all of the wrong reasons.

Sure you can get some nice snakes for cheap, but by doing so you're just supporting sleaze. I'd rather pay more money knowing its going to a good person or business who cares about the animals and the hobby.
