    For hides, I would suggest finding two litter boxes that will fit in the tub and still leave enough room for the water bowl and the snake to move back and forth between them. The ones I was using measure 13-1/2"L X 9-3/4"W X 4"T. They are just a little bit larger than the Reptile Basics large size hide...

    How come the UTH that they sell in the pet store say to "use only on glass" - can you use them with a tub???

    Because an unregulated UTH could damage or even melt the plastic. But a UTH hooked up to a reliable thermostat to keep it at the proper temperatures will not harm the plastic.

    I use a rack from RBI with CB-70 tubs. No hides just bedding and a bowl. It works really well.
